Here’s a well-produced antiwar, anti-McCain video from a young voter. ( Note: contains some graphic still images.)

The Democratic National Convention is holding a contest asking people to explain why they’re Democrats and the winners get a trip to the convention. A random example of the results:
Here’s Bill Richardson’s (except I think he’s already going):
Here’s one of the catchier tunes inspired by Barack Obama, by Ricky Fermin (more on his MySpace page):
Sound bite: “It’s not about his middle name / It’s about changing the game.”
Sound bite: “He obamafied the nation / with no hesitation / there are no limitations / no resignations there are higher expectations.”
This is worth the click, at least for the first minutes to see Barack with a light sabre and Hillary as … well, I wouldn’t want to ruin anything….
(This is from the same folks who brought you Baracky, but sadly, MGM — stick-the-mud, backward-looking, free-speech-killing, fair-comment ignoramuses — killed it.)
It’s a few days old but appropriate after Pennsylvania: Hillary Clinton rapping, “I’m takin’, takin’ back, back the White House, White House….”
A votervid cartoon on Obama as a master of Jedi mind tricks:
Ari Melber at The Nation points us to a Jay-Z/Obama mashup of the candidate’s brushing-off of the Pennsylvania debate.
I’m posting this video only out of geek interest: a cool technology that animates Obama’s head with the voice of Sebastion Cabot reading ‘The Times, They Are a’ Changing.”
One of the regrettable byproducts of the YouTube election is grownups exploiting little kids for political gain and subjecting us to it. Here a girl with an ice-cream moustache deciding her vote.
Conservative rap may sound like an oxymoron. And it is. But there’s a conservative rap rapping Barack Obama.
I was just thinking that we hadn’t really seen any slick, citizen-made attack ads on YouTube since the Hillary 1984 spot. But this morning, I find two, just put up, going after Barack Obama. They use the same video template to make two points — one about the disenfranchised voters of Florida and Michigan, the other about Obama’s campaign contributions from what the videographer calls special interests. The tagline: “The art of hypocrisy.”
The Florida/Michigan spot (which also throws darts at Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi):
The campaign contribution spot:
And here’s a catchy ditty aimed at keeping Huckabee in the race.
We’ve been hearing on the news that snow is messing up the candidates’ schedules in Wisconsin. Here’s a voter reporting on the weather — which is keeping her from going to see Hillary Clinton — and her mother’s reaction:
Sound bite: “She says, ‘Maybe it’s a sign from God that you’re not supposed to go hear the liberal Democrat Hillary Clinton speak.’”
Sometimes words aren’t enough when you support a candidate. These YouTubers say it in song.
“Huck ‘em All” — The World Metal Alliance shreds the roster of candidates and says Huckabee’s the man who can jam.
“Ba-Rock” — Obama’s the man “who says ‘Yes, we can.’ ”
“Ron Paul Dance” — This dude says “I have had too much time on my hands since graduating college.” True.
“Yes We Can” — An earnest young singer from New York weighs in with his version of the Will.i.am “Yes We Can” tune.
I missed this brilliant video remix about ch-ch-ch-changes by Hugh Atkin when it went up two weeks ago.
