Meanwhile…

Ron Paul sings the praises of Libertarian candidate Bob Barr:

Bob Barr’s nanny

Bob Barr, ready to run as a libertarian, takes to YouTube to complain about the Nanny State as exemplified in seven warning labels on Christmas-tree lights. From there he complains about government telling you to wear a helmet when you ride a motorcycle.

Here he is on cutting spending and taxes and repealing the 16th Amendment.

Why the Libertarian Party, you may ask? Barr’s answer.

Why not the Republican Party, you may ask? Barr says the GOP is about staying in office.

The ubiquitous Drew Carey, new king of game shows, has also started an online show for libertarian magazine Reason. Turns out that Carey is a libertarian himself, a political flavor that is getting more and more attention on the web (lots of libertarian blogs there) and in this election (see: Ron Paul). Carey picks the essential libertarian topic for this episode: privately run roads.
