Three McCain Ads

Better Off
Sarah Palin stars in this 30-second spot that says Obama will “add a massive tax burden to the American economy.”

Week
McCain says it’s been a wacky week full of partisan wrangling. He says he’s the leader who can pull us together and grow our economy. Thank goodness he un-suspended his campaign.

Fraudulent
This Spanish language ad says McCain is a true friend of Latinos. Obama and Biden are gringos who speak out of both sides of their mouths.

McCain Video: “Where is Obama?”

The McCain campaign talks to Latinos in Chicago about Barack Obama. Surprise! The folks they interview say Obama has done nada for their community. Don’t you love identity politics?

Obama Ad: “No Hay Mayor Obligacion”

This ad (customized for broadcast in New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado and Florida) may be in Spanish, but the message is the same: John McCain knows nada about fixing the economy. (And don’t forget, McCain = Bush.)

McCain Web Ad: “Obama Forgot Latin America”

John McCain goes after the Latino vote with this web ad that needles Barack Obama for not mentioning Latin America during that global stump speech in Berlin last week.

McCain Ad: “God’s Children”

The battle for the Latino vote takes to the airwaves with John McCain’s latest ad.

Sound Bite: “Remember that these are God’s children. They must come into our countgry legally but they have enriched our culture and our nation as every generation of immigrants before them.”

With Spanish Subtitles

Spanish 101

It’s Latin week on the campaign trail as both Barack Obama and John McCain court the ever-growing Hispanic vote. In a speech in Powder Springs, GA, Senator Obama says Americans ought not worry whether immigrants speak English.

Sound Bite: “Instead of worrying about whether immigrants can learn English — they’ll learn English — You need to make sure your child can speak Spanish . . . We should have every child speaking more than one language.”
