PrezConference: Global Warming

Here’s a PrezConference question from a voter who thinks global warming is the “most important issue facing the Unites States today.” He asks all candidates to lay out their plans for cutting greenhouse gases 80% by 2050.

Dodd Ad: “Global”

In a new ad scheduled to run in Iowa and New Hampshire, Senator Chris Dodd is touted as the only candidate “with an energy plan that has a courageous corporate carbon tax to transform American industry.” A bunch of ethnically diverse kids sing “We’ve got the whole world in our hands” as they play with globes. If a shot of frolicking puppies were included, the ad might have achieved a spot in the Cliche Hall of Fame.

Question time

That’s the lastest PREZCONFERENCE question posted on YouTube for the candidates.

As a reminder, here’s my invitation/plea to ask your questions via YouTube (and tag them PREZCONFERENCE so we can see them all — and see which get answered and which don’t).

It’s easy to record a video on YouTube. You make a video on your Mac or PC and upload it to YouTube. You can even use your webcam to record directly up to YouTube using its quick capture feature; no editing or other geeky bother needed. Once you upload it, make sure to tag it PREZCONFERENCE so we can all see the questions and so we can draw them to the candidates’ attention.

I’ve posted the same invitation on HuffingtonPost. And I urge you to pass the word and embed the video using the code below:
