Jeff,

I'd love to see your detailed suggestions on how an online candidate debate should be constructed. How will you get the major candidates to commit to something truly interactive?

Mushup, mashup does it really matter if the candidate content doesn't involve a round of rebuttals?

I'm also working to correct the historical record. The first online-only candidate debate was in 1994. So long go that it was even on Gopher, ftp, the web, and e-mail. more: http://www.dowire.org/notes/?p=374

Hi Jeff, I listened to your interview on NPR earlier today and was wondering why you were angry, but after seeing the Mash-up I realized that the supposed debate was pretty much lame.

I still appreciated the fact that they made an attempt though I think they failed miserably to reach a growing net savvy and younger audience who might not spend the time to watch such debates on TV.
