In last night’s Republican debate, Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani squared off on illegal immigration.

Romney says securing the border alone can’t work: “You have to cut back on federal funding on cities that continue to call themselves sanctuary cities and welcome people in, as New York has done.”

Rudy says securing the border will end illegal immigration: “We need a tamper-proof single ID card for every single person who’s in this country from a foreign country.”
