At the gay and lesbian forum hosted by the Human Rights Campaign and Logo, Senator Hillary Clinton tells how she will repeal the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy instituted by President Clinton. (It was a “transitional” policy, she says.) She also explains her position of favoring civil unions over gay marriage.

Melissa Etheridge says gays and lesbians supported President Clinton and that he threw them “under the bus” after he was elected. Hillary explains that change takes time and, besides, those bigoted Republicans are to blame.
