I’ve just watched all the early submissions of voter questions for candidates in the CNN/YouTube Democrats’ debate. The interesting ones.
The best question I’ve seen: Eddy wants to know what the candidates will do in the aftermath of withdrawl from Iraq. How will they prevent ethnic cleansing and civil war?
A related question here.

As an energy professional, I’m glad to see questions are being raised about climate change and power source. However, an interesting thing about energy issues in general is that they are bandied about in the political sphere with little thought to how these “choices” can actually be used, given the current laws of nature. In addition, many of the experts brought forward to present the case for wind, nuclear, etc. have never actually tried to generate electricity. It’s much different than what one might imagine. But it’s probably too much to expect any kind of meaningful debate on the national political level. (If you’d like an insider’s view of nuclear power, see my website.)
My entry is at #74; hopefully it was added after our host did his roundup since it’s about the only real question that anyone has submitted so far:

The other videos aren’t questions, they’re simply invitations for candidates to replay their stump speeched. Perhaps this site could encourage people to create videos with real questions concerning actual positions that the candidates have already taken, raising questions about those positions and pointing out their flaws.
Well I wouldn’t know why you would not find my video interesting? Could it be that my being from Canada had something to do with it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ue7IRWT9tPw
