Well, Hillary Clinton is certainly right: the Republican and Democrats have some fundamental disagreements. While the Democrats spent their debate tripping over each other to get out of Iraq, here’s Rudy Giuliani saying that invading Iraq was absolutely the right thing to do:

And here’s a compare-and-contrast: Ron Paul does his isolationist shtick and then Giuliani talks to an Iraq vet and says that “what we’re doing in Iraq if we do it right an help reduce the risk in this country.” He says the war “was one of the greatest military actions in U.S. history” but we’ve blown nation-building.

McCain says the war was “very badly mismanaged for a long time.” But “if we fail, it will become a center of terrorism…. This is long and hard and tough but I believe we can succeed.”
