This effort is a pointless waste of time. I've already made two videos using MSNBC's copyrighted audio portion, safely knowing that my use was fair use.

"Freeing" the "debates" also makes no sense if the "debates" are like the recent GOP "debate", with pointless puffball questions.

I doubt whether many of the partisan hacks who signed on to the petition would support a call to make sure that difficult questions are asked of both sides at the debates. They wouldn't want the other side to be asked difficult questions for fear that those would be asked of their side. That goes quadruple for immigration-related questions.

Continuing with the frankness, I note that the pace of prezconference-tagged videos has slowed. And, the recent Youtube interview with McCain is a waste of time; they failed to ask any tough questions.

I've seen a few articles saying that candidates are asked toughies on the trail, but no reporter tells us what the questions were, and those who ask them don't seem to have promoted the answers.

There really needs to be someone else besides me trying to have politicians asked the questions they should be asked.
