The MSNBC crusade spreads

Advertising has covered the PrezVid crusade to get MSNBC to open up the debates for us in era of YouTube here and here. Ditto Wired. The Wall Street Journal, too. And Ars Technica. And this afternoon, I was interviewed for a story about the campaign on NPR.

I am interested to see how this shakes out. I also would like to see the debate footage be more accessible, but I think it is important, nonetheless, to be fully constructive in regard to the manner in which this position is promoted.

Of course constructive may be in the eye, to some degree, of the beholder.

One thing I think we have seen in this world, is that poor means to good ends is generally not fruitful (or ultimately accepted). At the same time (and not be double minded), in a GENERAL sense, both boldness and occasional pushing of the envelope may, in my view, be required. But always within appropriate limits. That to me is the key point.
