Out of the Past

One of the facts of life for Presidential candidates is that your past is going to become an archaeological dig. We're talking major excavation followed by some fine sifting. Journalists and opposition staffers trip over one another trying to find something, anything to hang on the candidate.
So, it's not surprising that Barack Obama is now taking some incoming fire with an extensive two-part story in the Chicago Sun-Times that raises questions about his past relationship with Chicago developer Antoin “Tony” Rezko, currently under indictment for soliciting kickbacks on state business deals.
