It is the beginning of an open source editorial environment that will be complex and messy. But given the current state of diligence provided by media - its a welcome development. Clearly there will be places that convene conversation - Jeff has created that. And clearly candidates won't answer every question (just as the don't respond to every email). But accountability is core to our Democracy - and we don't have much accountability right now. Bravo! Well done. This an important, and critical shift.

It still seemed to be lacking something though - perhaps it was that someone off-camera was apparently reading him the question from the video (which means Biden may not have actually seen the video himself). But, that doesn't really matter, since the exciting thing is that his campaign is obviously making a serious effort on YouTube. Then again, this makes sense given his position in the fundraising race. His "Head to Head" site is an attempt to take the focus off of money and put it onto the issues.
